Founded by Jerry Stoller, who had more than 45 years of experience in agricultural production, Stoller has grown rapidly over the years and now boasts 900 employees in more than 50 countries around the world.

Jerry’s desire to understand the genetic expression of plants led to a lifelong pursuit. His extensive research  focused on:

• How to maintain healthy crops through the management of plant hormones and micronutrient levels throughout the growth cycle of the plant.
• The importance of maintaining optimal hormonal balance.
• How to maintain maximum genetic expression and, as a result, obtain healthier plants, more prepared to deal with the effects of stress under very varied conditions.

Jerry was recognized internationally as a leading authority on plant development and nutrition, and played a significant role in Stoller’s growth over the years before his passing in 2019.

Acknowledgments

• Jerry was appointed Entrepreneur of the Year of the Southwest Region for the Retail-Wholesale Industry in 1998 by the American Horticulture Society.
• He served on the board of directors of The Fertilizer Institute.
• He participated in the American Agronomy Society, Crop Science Society and Soil Science Society of America.
